I’m André Jahnoi, a visual artist, lyricist, activist and Ital chef based in Liverpool. Through my various media, I aim to creatively and critically engage with all aspects of my Afro-Caribbean-British identity, the interactions between them, and the processes which have caused and affected those interactions. Like my art, I am unapologetic in my Afrikan-ness and dream of justice and unity for all Afrikans, home and abroad. I believe that to bring about a change in a person, one must engage their mind and heart simultaneously, and I reason that art is the perfect vehicle for this. Forward!
