Art is an amazing therapy in many different ways. lt can improve your general well-being and mental health. Creating art injects happiness and freedom into my life and hopefully to others who view it. This painting is part of a collection called 'Freedom' that explores the juxtaposition of fear and freedom....and embracing change, honesty and new beginnings.
This piece was inspired by my memories of my adventure to Southern India as part of an artist residency. The colour palete was also inspired by the colour of the sky and landscape at sunset in India. I used water based pigment and acrylics for this piece.
