Taking inspiration from Victorian botanical etchings, the cloth print belongs to my original tablecloth series of drawings. Each piece has undergone meticulous digital mastering in photoshop, resulting in intricate designs and patterns of the highest quality. Every pen stroke has been meticulously documented, and all designs are imbued with meticulous attention, care, and dedication. Crafted with love and dedication, I thoroughly enjoy bringing my imaginative visions to life on paper or fabric. Each print has been meticulously produced by a local printing company, utilising the finest ink on 300gsm elements fire card. This print is A4 in size, measuring 29.7x21cm. It is also available in A3, measuring 42x29.7 cm. Both sizes fit standard 'on the shelf' frames. The print is shipped unmounted and unframed. Every print is thoughtfully enclosed in a cellophane sleeve and securely packaged within a sturdy cardboard envelope. All prints are individually signed and packed by me to ensure safe delivery. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. All prints are dispatched via Royal Mail Second Class Signed for Post, guaranteeing the safe and secure arrival of your item. Within my Fine Art practice I am heavily interested in objects and artifacts, I enjoy exploring their life histories in detail. The juxtaposition between the archaic and the modern is one of the main features of my work. This combined with ideas of the importance of ritualistic function, and how individuals create meaning through objects, is something I'm heavily interested in. I love starting a new project, experimenting with how different marks and strokes on the page or for fabric can form intricate drawings. This passion inspired me to launch Handmade by Emma Bayes in 2017.
