“I made this colourful abstract acrylic canvas wall art to show what a really hot summer day feels like. I used bright blue and yellow colours and made bold marks on a big surface. I used acrylic paint and my own tools to spread, pull, and change the paint. I also added some gold to make it shine. I made this painting on a canvas that was used before but fixed up. The painting is 120 x 120 centimetres in size, and it's on a stretched canvas. The frame you see in the virtual room picture is just to give you an idea, it's not included, but we can get one for you at an extra cost. If you want me to arrange a frame, just send me a message. If you live within 15 miles of the B74 area, I can bring the painting to you myself, but that would cost a little more. Please get in touch with me if you want to know more about delivery.”

Clare completed an Art Foundation course before undertaking a Fashion Design degree in the early 2000’s. After a 10 year stint in London working in the fashion jewellery industry, she moved back to her home town and is now based in Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham. Clare’s love of painting never left her and she decided to leave her job earlier this year to focus full time on art. Her work has been mainly commission based but she finds joy in creating pieces inspired by a mood or colour, then works intuitively through to completion. Clare works mainly with acrylics, colour is extremely important in all her paintings, she likes to try and invoke a feeling with each piece.
