Introducing “Neutral Ground”, by Clare Garrad. This limited edition abstract digital print, invites art enthusiasts to explore a realm of imagination where texture and abstraction converge.
Features of Neutral Ground:
I made this limited edition abstract digital print originally as part of a project for a private client. I used a set of colours that I don't typically work with - these were neutral colours. These colours inspired me to create more pronounced textures, and you can see them really well in this limited edition digital print. The prints are made on heavy cardstock, and I personally sign each one of them. I also write down the print number and its name on the back. It's important to know that these prints are sold without frames or mounts. However, if you'd like to have them framed, we can arrange that for an extra cost. Clare completed an Art Foundation course before undertaking a Fashion Design degree in the early 2000’s. After a 10 year stint in London working in the fashion jewellery industry, she moved back to her home town and is now based in Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham. Clare’s love of painting never left her and she decided to leave her job earlier this year to focus full time on art. Her work has been mainly commission based but she finds joy in creating pieces inspired by a mood or colour, then works intuitively through to completion. Clare works mainly with acrylics, colour is extremely important in all her paintings, she likes to try and invoke a feeling with each piece.
