This painting depicting the two cultures includes “ SIGIRI LANDUN “, a unique type of creation created in the ancient history of Sri Lanka. This painting named called “ PAINTING OF VIRGINIA” and was created by combining the Sri Lanka culture and European culture. This painting depicting the two cultures was done by oil painting although this woman, “ VIRGINIA “, is fully naked when someone looks at her from any angle, she will directly look in his/her eyes. For whatever reason, she is fully naked, but her hands display the reticence of a woman. Her eyes show the courage within a woman, and her hands show that she has just taken off her dress.Even though the painting of SIGIRI LANDUN “ are fully naked, they seem to have their eyes down but in this painting, this woman is straightly into the viewer’s eyes with confidence.
