This piece takes its inspiration from repetitive wallpaper and features an abstract heart as the centrepiece. It does also give beach hut vibes which was accidental! The heart is made up of swirls, leaves and dots which are painted and drawn using silver pen. The pen is not always visible, only being noticeable in certain lights or when the sun hits, this makes the piece more intricate than it first appears to be. This piece is one of the boldest in my collection and is less complex and busy that some of my other work.

That being said, if you are looking for perfect shapes and symmetry, you've come to the wrong place! I love to create my art freehand, so often things aren't perfect and equal and I love it! I use both acrylic paint and pens and love creating things with colour with a sprinkling of silver and gold details.
