Cosimo was founded to challenge the status quo of the art market. Having observed how high commission rates, opaque pricing and complex sales channels were limiting both artist earnings and buyer access, we set out to build a better way. Founded in the UK by John Sewell, our team brings together artists, curators, educators and technologists who share a belief: talented creators deserve full control of their careers; lovers of art deserve a transparent and enjoyable way to buy it.
