This smaller piece was absolutely colour led - Clare wanted to try something darker and more atmospheric. Layers of darker colours were laid down before whites and accents of orange and gold were used to lift the piece. Marks were made using fabrics and palette knives which creates the richness of texture but only using paint. This piece can be sold with the frame if preferred, or only with mount.
