A very meditative piece in the making, I wanted to create a stillness and peace with this painting. Little marks of yellow peek through the all encompassing blues, and texture and white lift the painting. I knew I wanted to find a calmness with the piece, starting with the texture then layering on blues with only one paintbrush, adding tones and colours as I worked intuitively to completion. This piece was completed on a preloved reconstituted canvas. Please note this is a stretched canvas, the framed image in the virtual room is for illustration purposes only.
