This piece was inspired by a feeling of being lost, alone and out of control. The mark making and strokes giving the sense of tumbling and falling…but there is always the light if you look up and I feel that this gives the painting a feeling of calm within the storm. All my art is inspired by mood and feeling, sometimes a colour palette is set but not always - and this allows me to intuitively ‘feel’ my way through the painting, even if that’s tricky sometimes, and often the end result is completely different to what I had in mind! This piece is an original acrylic on paper and currently mounted and framed, however please contact the artist for details regarding framing.
