Bobbie specialises in large scale bold abstract oil paintings that often incorporate metallic elements. Bobbie's work is process based and often begins with an emotion and develops based on her initial mark making. She uses bold colours straight from the tube which she selects in response to a natural forms and landscapes. Bobbie's unique process layers natural colours with metallic elements. This is inspired by the Japanese method of repairing pottery called Kintsugi.
