"When I first began my career, working in the commercial gallery sector, I thought I was on the right path - finally getting closer to the art world I’d studied and cared about for as long as I could remember. But it didn’t take long to realise how broken things were. Pricing and fees were opaque. Artists were underpaid. Collectors didn’t feel confident, and most people - even those who genuinely loved art - felt shut out of the system. And if I felt that way, as someone who worked in a gallery and studied Art History, how many people on the outside were being excluded too? That’s what pushed me to build Cosimo - a platform designed to make art more affordable and accessible for all. One that helps artists take control of their careers, tell their stories, and connect directly with the people who love what they create."
