Emily Bartlett, self taught, full-time artist, relocated to Northern Italy at the age of 18, where she lived for 6 years in the historical port city of Genoa on the beautiful Ligurian coast. The Mediterranean themes and colours inspired her in this era and continue in her work today. Her portfolio of over 200 paintings has consistently followed the theme of ‘The Circle of Life’. Her thought process and brush-strokes culminate in a balanced connection thus coming together in a metaphorical circle. Once complete, the painting is then signed with a ‘o’ which she considers to be a full-stop.
