Pun Intended

My Collection: Pun Intended "Pun Intended" is a collection of paintings that I've had a lot of fun creating. It's essentially my playful way of exploring those unexpected connections between the worlds of sport and food. You'll find 18 distinct pieces in the collection – a little nod to the 18 holes on a golf course, which is, of course, a big part of my life. Each painting takes a common idiom or expression and tries to bring it to life with a witty visual twist. Whether it's a diver taking 'Just a Splash' in a wine glass or a strongman showing 'No Pain, No Gain' with a pastry, my aim is really just to reimagine these familiar phrases in a fresh, surprising, and hopefully amusing way. I've tried to use vibrant colours and clever compositions to celebrate both the energy of sports and the simple pleasure of food. It's been a really enjoyable journey putting these together, and I hope they bring a smile.
