I’m a landscape painter drawn to the quiet drama of the natural world—especially the skies. After stepping away from painting for a while, I’m finding my way back with fresh eyes and an open mind. This return feels less like picking up where I left off, and more like starting a new conversation—with myself, with nature, and with the paint.
My work centers around landscapes, but the sky often becomes the main subject. I’m fascinated by how it constantly shifts—how light, color, and atmosphere can tell a story without words. Each piece I create tries to hold a moment still: the hush before a sunrise, the slow weight of twilight, the tension in a storm rolling in. I'm not always painting a specific place—often it's more about capturing a feeling or memory than recreating a scene exactly as it was.
Getting back into painting has meant letting go of a lot of expectations. I’m learning to trust my instincts again, to let the process lead me instead of forcing it. Some days, the brush moves with confidence. Other days, it takes more patience. I’m exploring styles—sometimes leaning toward realism, other times letting things blur and soften to capture mood more than detail.
Right now, I’m in a space of experimentation and rediscovery. I don’t feel the need to define my style too strictly. Instead, I’m enjoying the freedom to explore what feels honest and resonant. What ties my work together is a sense of stillness, reflection, and a deep respect for the natural world. I hope my paintings invite others to pause, to breathe, and to find something quiet and familiar in the skies and landscapes I create.
This is an ongoing journey—one of returning, relearning, and reconnecting with the love of painting that’s always been there, waiting.
