I’m Krupa...mum to two amazing girls, GP, and an artist rediscovering my creative side after a 20-year hiatus. Art has become my sanctuary...a mindful space where I can step away from the daily stresses of being a GP and express myself authentically. A space to breathe, to slow down, and to reconnect with joy. I split my time between caring and creating... both are acts of connection at heart.

Growing up as one of the only South Asian kids in school, embracing my heritage wasn’t always easy. But with age, parenthood, and reflection, I’ve come to treasure my roots and the vibrant, multicultural city of Birmingham I call home. My art celebrates the richness of my mixed heritage...a beautiful fusion of cultures that shaped me. It’s okay not to fit neatly into one box....being authentically me is more than enough.

I’ve always been drawn to creative expression in all its forms, which probably explains the mix of things I love to make! From painting to illustration, crafting to storytelling... it’s all part of how I see and make sense of the world.
