Matt Petley-Jones is the owner and director of Petley Jones Gallery, a prominent fine art gallery established in 1986 in Vancouver. Born in Edmonton, he graduated from the University of Alberta in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts Special, majoring in painting. His work is influenced by his family, particularly his uncle, Canadian Impressionist painter Llewellyn Petley-Jones, after whom the gallery is named.
