Not enough is the fouth painting in Whisperwild series. This one is about that feeling when your child starts to pull away—not suddenly, just little by little. They don’t need you the same way anymore. And even though you know that’s how it’s supposed to be, it feels like there’s not enough time left together. You’re still close, but it’s already different. I painted this for that strange place between holding on and letting go.
