Skins examines how form remains constant while perception shifts. In the upper panel, stripped of color, vessels emerge as pure structure and shadow. Below, the same objects are reimagined through pigment—glass, ceramic, and plastic each asserting their surface identity. The piece reflects on how much of what we see is shaped by what we project: memory, material, expectation. This quiet diptych becomes a meditation on outer layers and internal truths—on what we call real.
