This painting has been created using a host of techniques from the printmaking world, using a range of mediums including acrylics, watercolours, varnish and intaglio ink - on the ideal surface for the job, a recycled poly Foamex board.

Part of the 'Portrait' series, this image comes from deep within my psyche, at first thought a dark characteristic, but once surfaced it has become a likeable and positive thing, enhancing the world and giving meaning to what was once thought of as mundane...

The piece has been framed in a unique solid slice of wood - no fragile corners or weak points - and has been strung on the back ready to hang.

The image itself is approximately 58.5cm x 62.5cm, housed within a frame of 63.5cm x 68cm.
