Inspired by walking in Epping Forest, near Loughton, on a day of dramatic weather - an icy gale and snow swirling around in the air.

I have used ink and watercolour with some acrylic and gouache body colour. The painting was built up in many layers including some random, abstract marks such as blotting, spraying and drips and runs to bring a sense of movement.
