Sunrise alcohol ink art is the inaugural piece in a collection that draws inspiration from my Verticals series and the space rock canvases. My aim was to delve into the intriguing interplay of colour and light on canvas, especially with alcohol ink, as it produces unique effects on canvas compared to yupo paper. The rich and vibrant colours naturally corresponded to different times of the day, with this particular piece capturing the essence of sunrise. Created on an 8x8 inch canvas, this artwork combines alcohol ink and markers and features finished edges.
