Recent events have shown that spiking is becoming an epidemic. So many students and other young people are being targeted in various clubs around the city. It is so sad to see that the same victim blaming approach that was used for the safety of women walking home is being taken here to tackle the issue. ‘Protect your drinks’ isn’t a good enough solution as we are all aware. I wanted to do this piece to show that me and this page stand with victims and that no matter how hard some venues and people try, we will not be silenced.
