_Closure, Toronto_ began as a high-key, graphically striking street scene in Toronto, Canada. I added, altered and subtracted various elements from the source image to bring it to its final state. Some of the work's symbolism is private but I hope it speaks to viewers about our scope for self-determination after a loss or setback.
