"Peace of the Jigsaw" first appeared as part of my workshop in 2014 for Arts All Over the Place in Birmingham U.K. - part of the Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMFT) of which I was a Public Governor. I found the act of carefully hand painting old jigsaw pieces very relaxing, hence the spelling ‘peace’. 

On Wednesday afternoon, 10th Jan 2024, a large jigsaw piece randomly came back into my life. I used it during the next two days and sketched it four times in pencil for this work during the first session. I then painted around this space with oils. 

The result has left four gaps in the painting which now represent holes in the fabric of time, space and reality. This SHIFT IN REALITY is the ‘New Normal’ we have all gone through since 2020. Hence, ‘The Great Reset’. The missing pieces of the jigsaw are being given to us, spoon fed almost, one piece at a time. This allows a gradual change in consciousness so that our thinking can catch up with knowing the deep dark undercurrents of the ‘powers that be’ and their quiet removal from office.

‘From One Dimension to Another’ not only refers to a flat piece of jigsaw but the uplift in consciousness the planet is experiencing right now. Higher vibrations are raising Earth up to a Fifth Dimension, wherever that may be.
