A Saxony Princess, (using Lucas Cranach for inspiration) meets with a fire breathing dragon. We know that the outcome of this pairing is tragic and forms part of the narrative revisiting George and the Dragon. It's focus is on the characters in the story who support the heroic protagonist and his monster dragon. The young princess waits for rescue but what does she do while she's waiting? In this imagined world the dragon converses with the princesses, they patiently wait around together and accept their roles as foils. It asks questions of what it means to be a monster in folklore.
