Art is an amazing therapy in many different ways. lt can improve your general well-being and mental health. Creating art injects happiness and freedom into my life and hopefully to others who view it. This painting is part of a collection called 'Freedom' that explores the juxtaposition of fear and freedom....and embracing change, honesty and new beginnings.
This piece was inspired by my adventure to Southern India as part of an artist residency. I was painting in a studio based in the lush green mountains of Kerala in Southern India. The colour palette was inspired by the various colours of the landscape that gradually changed throughout the day. I used acrylics for this piece
