ONLY I KNOW

ONLY I KNOW is a piece that I was commissioned to make by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and Culture Solihull as part of a large public exhibition in the town centre of Solihull for 3 months. The display is to play homage to the late Emmy Bridgewater who was a surrealist artist and lived in the town. The exhibition is called 'Surreal Solihull' and artists were commissioned to create pieces that portrayed their interpration of 'Surreal'. The piece was reproduced onto a print that is displayed in glass and stone boards and it is still on show until May 30th 2025. The original is available to buy.

The thought behind this piece as the idea that 'not everything is always what it seems'. I used acrylic, spray paint and ink on canvas
