** This is an original - not a print. ** The Kakapo (also known as Owl Parrot or Moss Chicken) is a large, nocturnal parrot. It is a flightless, ground dwelling bird from New Zealand that can live to over 60 years old. They are critically endangered on the IUCN red list, with something like 200 left in the wild. Painted with acrylic paints on good quality acrylic paper. It is varnished and ready to be framed to your taste. It comes with a certificate of authenticity. A unique, original art work. With thanks to Lydia Uddstrom for the beautiful reference photo. Unframed - frame shown is for illustration only. Thanks for showing an interest in my work and supporting independent artists.
