I have always had ideas in my head where I am going with a series of paintings. My thought process was that, I see what I see but what do you see?Your choice of artwork that attracts you to it, will likely have a different meaning to you and others, even me. Excited with what you think you see? Have that feeling everyday and even change your mind. Have that momentary pause forever in your own space and make a neurodiverse artist very happy. This work was painted on a recycled canvas using brushed acrylic layers and wet brush work to bring fluidity together with the layers.

Darren is an artist who calms himself but can also express through his art. A prolific creator working from his home studio in West Oxfordshire, England. He has slowly become & eventually became a full time artist, but he has used art as therapy his whole life. Darren's art journey of drawing with ink and pencils started at 3 years of age following his first concussion and serious accident. Many more concussions, GBH, abused during in his teens, battling demons, where alcohol dependancy ensued through many decades. He is thankfully now many years sober, getting lots of treatment, medication & so much other help for so much trauma. During this tough time including another severe brain injury diagnoses, he was bought some paints in 2016. Alongside his intricate drawings and now his painting styles, they impress worldwide and offer Darren his therapy.
