The inspiration behind this artwork stems from the concerning fact that the United Kingdom is among the countries with the least amount of natural environments left, as reported by the Natural History Museum in 2021. The artist raises thought-provoking questions about our contradictory relationship with nature. On one hand, we celebrate and appreciate its beauty, but on the other, we harm it with our waste and disregard for its preservation.The artist also delves into the idea of whether nature can adapt to the new environments we construct as traditional habitats continue to decline. The artwork measures 20 x 20 centimetres, while the framed artwork has dimensions of 32 x 32 centimetres, making it a captivating piece for display.
