Dream State is a mixed media piece, whimsical in nature it lazily drifts from gentle pink watercolours through to the metallic gold inks. A base layer of heavy bodied acrylic creates a textured backdrop for the watercolours and inks.
The piece comes framed and was created on 300gsm textured watercolour paper and also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Clare completed an Art Foundation course before undertaking a Fashion Design degree in the early 2000’s. After a 10 year stint in London working in the fashion jewellery industry, she moved back to her home town and is now based in Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham. Clare’s love of painting never left her and she decided to leave her job earlier this year to focus full time on art. Her work has been mainly commission based but she finds joy in creating pieces inspired by a mood or colour, then works intuitively through to completion. Clare works mainly with acrylics, colour is extremely important in all her paintings, she likes to try and invoke a feeling with each piece.
