Features of Offering an olive branch 2:
The olive brunch spray art is an original limited edition print designed in a contemporary style, boasting a palette of striking colours that captivate the eye. This artwork beautifully portrays the imagery of an olive tree branch set against the backdrop of a stylized red sun. Notably, this is Version 2 of the composition (Version 1 is also available on this site), characterised by a darker colour scheme that skillfully conveys the leaves' silhouette against the sky, adding a unique depth to the piece. This creation draws inspiration from the enchanting sights of Andalusia, invoking vivid memories of travels in Spain and the warmth of sunny Mediterranean holidays. Limited to an edition of 25, each print is thoughtfully signed and editioned for that special touch of exclusivity.
Crafted on 310gsm archival fine art paper, the image itself measures 37 x 28cm, while the paper extends to 54 x 44cm, offering a wide, white border. My prints are characterised by strong colour palettes which evoke memories of much-loved places or moments of reflection, and I enjoy exploring unusual and often unexpected combinations of colour and pattern to reinterpret familiar sights. Water reflections feature in many of my prints, while reflection in the broader sense of contemplation and consideration also runs through my art.
